Saludos desde Edimburgo. Después de dos horas de vuelo desde Bilbao, en un Airbus A320 de color naranja y olor a nuevo de Easyjet, a medianoche he llegado a Edimburgo.
Mañana iré a recoger la bicicleta de segunda mano que he encontrado por Internet, y el viernes comenzaré la ruta por tierras escocesas. Iré informando con mapas y fotos de la ruta que seguiré, aunque a grandes rasgos ya adelanto que desde Edimburgo tomaré rumbo norte hacia Inverness y después volveré a la capital, para cerrar el círculo. Por el camino, dormiré en ‘bothies’ y acamparé donde pueda (la acampada libre es legal en Escocia). La duración estimada del viaje será de entre diez días y dos semanas, en los que completaré unos mil kilómetros.
Greetings from Edinburgh. After two hours flight from Bilbao, in an orange colour and brand new Airbus A320, I arrived to Edinburgh at midnight.
Tomorrow I will collect the bicycle that I found in Internet and on friday I will start my route over Scotland. I will keep you updated with maps and pictures from the road. I expect drive north from Edinburgh to Inverness and then back to the capital to close the circle. I will sleep in bothies and I will make free camping as well (it is legal in Scotland). The estimated time for this trip will be between ten days and two weeks, completing around one thousand kilometers.
